Like one of my favorite songs go, healing doesn’t happen in a straight line, and neither did my path here. In my early years I was taught to be kind and respectful of others and that carried me through many trials and tribulations. Through my life, I have found a deep desire to be there for the people who feel like no one understands them. I have had the blessing to be a part of many individuals’ lives in deep and meaningful ways and I am sincerely grateful for each one of those experiences. All of this has helped me understand the value in being seen, heard and understood, and I continue to deepen my desire to find new ways of making that happen.
There are a variety of techniques to help people find healing and meaning in their life and my role is to help each person discover what will help them find the greatest level of healing. Sometimes that means simply talk therapy, changing how we think and behave and/or finding alternative techniques for growth.
I understand talking to a complete stranger about the intimate details of your life is awkward and a bit uncomfortable. Sometimes that is exactly what we need, someone who isn't in our life to help support us. I would love the opportunity to be that kind of support!
Our office is a safe place for anyone and everyone needing someone to support them through the tough parts in life. This means that ALL are welcome, it doesn't matter what you have done, what has been done to you, what you have been labeled, what you have labeled yourself or any other possible group you could be a part of. We all need someone who can accept us for who we are and where we are at in life, this is a judgment free zone.
For those concerned with safety, please know that this building is a safe space with safe people. We have had all walks of life come through our doors. Hope you get to be one of them!
